MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Jagemann™ Precision Plastics, a division of Jagemann™ Stamping Co., is pleased to announce plans to expand its Murfreesboro facility to meet increased demand and continue its commitment to manufacturing the highest quality parts.

The announcement comes on the heels of JPP’s parent company’s expansion. Jagemann™ Stamping Co. recently completed a 50,000-square-foot expansion at the company’s headquarters and plant in Manitowoc, Wisc., adding 130 jobs and new product offerings such as brass casings and increased metal stamping capabilities.

Tom Jagemann™, CEO, stated “This addition is very strategic to Jagemann™, as it will allow further growth and capability as to precision insert- and over-molding stamping, fineblanking and assembly.”

As part of the expansion, Jagemann™ Precision Plastics will add up to 90 jobs to the Murfreesboro location, in addition to the purchase of many state-of-the-art pieces of equipment and an addition of over 30,000 square feet.

Jagemann™ Precision Plastics President Ralph Hardt worked closely with State and Rutherford County Chamber associates to complete the details of the project.  According to Hardt, “We are pleased to have the support of the local and state officials as we make plans to grow and expand in the region.  We anticipate this to be a longstanding relationship.”

“It’s a great compliment to Tennessee and our exceptional business climate when an existing industry not only sees the benefits of doing business in our state, but chooses to expand and further grow its operations here as well,” said Tennessee Economic and Community Development Commissioner Randy Boyd. “I want to congratulate Jagemann™ Precision Plastics on its expansion in Murfreesboro and thank the company for creating new jobs for Middle Tennessee’s workforce.”

Destination Rutherford Chairman Bill Jones added, “We are thrilled that Jagemann™ has decided to grow their workforce in Rutherford County.  Destination Rutherford is committed to the expansion efforts of existing industry and when a company decides to do so, it is a testament to our positive business environment and skilled workforce.”

The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) worked with Jagemann™, the State of Tennessee and the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce as part of the expansion project.

“TVA and Murfreesboro Electric Department congratulate Jagemann™ on its announcement of plans to expand in Murfreesboro,” TVA Senior Vice President of Economic Development John Bradley said.  “It is always great to see existing companies like Jagemann™ make the commitment to growth in our communities; we are pleased to partner with the State of Tennessee, Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce, City of Murfreesboro, Rutherford County and other local leaders to facilitate this growth.”
