Jagemann Stamping Company has incorporated many key engineering disciplines into
our QS-9000 system in order to support our customers’ requirements. These disciplines
include Design Engineering, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and
Research & Development.
 |
Our design engineers at Jagemann Stamping are known for their innovative approach
to solving problems. By applying new ideas and concepts to the design of production
tooling, the customer is assured that parts will be manufactured using the most
cost effective and efficient method available. Utilizing SolidWorks™ 3D Design Software,
engineers can create and evaluate the form and fit of tooling through the full motion
of the press. Analytical tools including FEA and Kinematic analysis are utilized
for tooling and equipment design to assure robust, high-speed operation. We can,
therefore, analyze the tool function before any of the tooling is built. In addition
to the 3D software, Design Knowledge Templates are used to capture, store, and reclaim
proven metal forming tool designs for use on new projects. This reduces the development
cycle by eliminating the need to create new designs when proven techniques already
exist and are readily available.
|
Jagemann Stamping Quality Engineers are involved in every phase of any project.
They contribute ideas at the quote stage, support Design Engineering and tool trials
during product launch (PPAP), and participate in our “never ending” continuous improvement
program. Control plans, FMEA documents, gage requirements, capability studies, material
standards, qualification of outside service suppliers, and special customer requirements
are just some of the areas that Quality Engineering has under its responsibility.
“Continuous Improvement” is not just a buzz word at Jagemann Stamping. It is a process
that we work on every day. The JSC continuous improvement program is employee driven
and uses the expertise of our Manufacturing Engineering Team. Experience and knowledge
in machine, tool and process design, as well as the ability to get others involved,
have contributed to the success that we have experienced. This success has translated
into better processes, a safer working environment for our employees, and greater
value for our customers.
All of our programs at Jagemann Stamping are supported by a tool trials staff. These
highly skilled technicians have experience in tool making, process development,
unique forming techniques, customer samples, and PPAP requirements for new products.
The Advanced Development department allows JSC to expand its horizons by incorporating
new ideas and advanced technology into our tooling and forming processes. This,
in turn, gives Jagemann Stamping a competitive edge that allows us to stay ahead
of the competition and be Just the Best in servicing customer
requirements.
